HESTIA FESTIVAL is back for its third year!

With a prestigious award (thank you Society of Garden & Landscape Designers) gorgeous article in Gardens Illustrated and exceptional new pizza menu, we have much to celebrate.

Join us on Saturday, 30th August from 12pm for a fun filled day of live music, garden games and delicious food and drinks.

The day kicks off at 1pm with LATIN JAZZ sensation, Kaw Regis, following his exceptional Flight Club set. Kids can enjoy games and a SILENT DISCO all day, as well a free ice cream.

National Fish & Chip Day is celebrated annually on the first Friday in June to honour the iconic British dish of fish and chips. This day celebrates the cultural and culinary significance of fish and chips, a popular meal that is a symbol of the national pride.

We are especially proud of our Day Boat Fish & Chips (fresh from Cornwall) at The Plough Shiplake. In honour of this wonderful meal, we will be running a draw all day on Friday 6 June. Every guest (whether or not you’re having fish & chips) will be entered into a draw for a free Fish & Chips Feast: Fish & Chips for 2, drinks x 2 and dessert x 2. The perfect date night or girlie catch up.

To be entered, just join us for a meal next Friday and you will be entered in the draw. The winner will be announced Saturday 7 June.

There’s something wonderful about celebrating a special occasion in December. It comes with an automatic feeling of joy and happiness.

So, it is with that extra bit of holiday spirit we invite you to join us on Saturday 7 December as we celebrate our 2nd anniversary. The gorgeous JAZZ FORMATION will be playing in the bar from 2pm. SILLA will keep the party going from 6pm with her soulful holiday favourites, as well as some R&B classics.

To mark the occasion, we will be selling The Plough Christmas Club  all weekend (Friday through Sunday) in aid of Launchpad Reading. All proceeds will go to helping the homeless this holiday season.  

My heart is so full of thanks as we approach this milestone; for my team, my family and friends and for our wonderful array of customers. This journey has been a blessing I never could have imaged. Thank you for being part of it.  

Join us for a lovely morning of Floral Art, lead by Lyndsay from Moomi Botanicals, as you create a sustainable festive centrepiece or wreath, that will last long past the holiday season.

Lyndsay will share her talent for dried flower artistry, using all natural materials, including a 20cm willow hoop (extending to 30cm with flowers), dried flowers, seed heads and seasonal accents.

Save the date. We will be hosting our annual HESITA FESTIVAL on Saturday 24 August from 2pm - late.
