Plough Steak Night
We’ve got a special treat for meat lovers this Spring. THE PLOUGH STEAK NIGHT. Every Thursday evening (6-8:30pm) we will be offering a 6oz Bavette steak, served with rocket salad and onion rings, with a glass of house wine for £25. (Beer & soft drinks are also available.)
Cellar & Cheese Evening
The entire PLOUGH team loves cheese. And BRITISH cheese is some of the absolute best. So, in celebration of this passion we are hosting a special wine & cheese night. CHEF KAINE has developed an inventive cheese menu and CHLOE & FERNANDO have found the perfect wines.
Pub Quiz
Join Shiplake College Master, Marcus Milburn, for four exciting rounds, with spot prizes from The Henley Distillery, a £50 voucher for the winning team and lots of laughs.
Father’s Day
Enjoy our award-winning Sunday roast this FATHER’S DAY. All father’s will receive a sweet treat from GORVETT & STONE.
Summer Flight Club
What better way to kick off your summer than with JUNE FLIGHT CLUB! Cocktails in the garden, fresh flowers on your table and the stunning STELLA performing all your favourite songs.
Doors open at 6:30pm with your welcome cocktail and selection of canapes. Followed by HEAD CHEF KAINE HEAD’s 5-course celebration of fresh summer flavours. We usually finish between 9:30 & 10pm but guests are welcome to stay on and enjoy FERNANDO’s fabulous cocktails.
Bank Holiday Mondays
We are happy to announce that we will be opened on the upcoming BANK HOLIDAY MONDAYS. Spend a lazy afternoon enjoying our delicious SPRING MENU or pop in for a coffee with your favourite friend.

Starting on 22 January, The Plough Shiplake will be hosting PIE NIGHT every Thursday from 6-8:30pm. The pies will change every week but they’ll always be handmade in our kitchen and always paired with a pint for £22.
