Private Dining Room
Whether you’re planning an intimate celebration, a business dinner, or a special gathering with friends and family, our Private Dining Room, located on the 1st floor, offers a stylish and comfortable space. We are perfectly suited to host groups of 10 to 22 for a sit-down meal, or up to 40 for a standing reception. You can choose from three delicious menus, all with no room hire fees or minimum spend.
Well-behaved dogs are also welcome with prior permission.

There is no room hire charge to use our private dining room. We require a pre-order (submitted at least a week before you event). We have three menus you can choose from and we can, of course, cater for dietary requirements

The Plough Shiplake is available for complete private hire for full and half days.
Wednesday & Thursday
Half day (12.00 - 17.00 or 17.00 - 22.00) £500 hiring fee with £3,500 minimum spend
- Full day (12.00 - 22.00): £1,000 with £5,000 min spendFRIDAY & SATURDAY
- Half day (12.00 - 17.00 or 17.00-23.00): £500 hiring fee (no service charge) with £4,500 minimum spend (excluding 12.5% service charge)
- Full day (12.00 - 23.00): £1,000 hiring fee (no service charge) with £7,000 minimum spend (excluding 12.5% service charge)SUNDAY (or bank holiday Monday)
Full day (12.00 - 18.00): £1,000 hiring fee (no service charge) with £5,000 minimum spend (excluding 12.5% service charge)

Yes! We’re happy to stay open as late as 1am with a charge of £500 per hour.
